I just RMA'd a mob that was defective (A7N8X Dx). I used Arctic Silver (according to directions and verrry carefully). I'm pretty confident that it was not the Arctic Silver that was the problem (memory errors and AGP slot errors), because I've seen posts with similar problems to mine. But, just in case, I think I will refrain from using it on the next board.
The problem is, in order to apply the Arctic Silver paste to the processor and board, you have to remove the wax that came on the processor. Does that mean I am going to be forced to use the Arctic Silver again?
