Higher Refresh Rate deteriorating monitor??

If u switch from 75 to 80-85+ more hz,will the screen be going"down the dumps" faster than before?
does it happen only with crt's or tft's?

Only if your forcing arefresh rate that your monitor isnt designed to handle at a certain resolution. Typically the maximum refresh rate for a given resolution can be found in the monitors manual

okay..hope everythings fine here.
if your monitor makes a strange noise,like a bbiiiiiiiiiiiii(small but easily listenable) sometimes,what could that mean?
if i switch it off and start it again,the noise is gone.Go figure?
