i mean a gamecube is cheap (price), maybe some of u say NA **** GAMES but i like most of the game they have
i also have a gameboy adnvanced and i love that

now they will rbing a gameboy player out which lets u play GAMEBOY GAMES on the TV
it gets conected to the gamecube and there u are

so...shud i get one or not

It's had dissapointing sales though, has the 'Cube, apparently and I'm not very keen on them at all, so peronally if it were up to me, I'd say leave it.. but it isn't up to me, its your choice :)

I said no because you can't do anything with a Gamecube besides play Gamecube games. One of hte reasons I got a PS2:)

Not enough games, nintendo have got to examine every game for the gc for some reason. PS2 all it takes is a person with some knowledge, a PS2 encoder, and a licence so you can give Sony what you want on the game and they will put it on Sony DVD, w/ sony PS2 copyright.:t

The PS2 is old, crammed with average to poor games in the main, and the seldom really good games appearign on it are usually converted to PC. Same goes for the Xbox, although Bill Gates seems to be intent on crippling the PC gaming industry with his financial 'persuasion' (Halo anyone?)

The gamecube, although some may see it as a kiddie console, has a stream of fresh and original titles that wont make it to the PC, for this reason the GC is the only one worth buying as ifs good games will never be seen on your PC, wheras those of the Xbox and PS2 will be (one day)

Yes that was the pirmary reason why i bought a gamecube, dozens of EXCLUSIVE nintendo titles which won't be appearing on PC. X-Box's current best exclusive game? Halo. On PC soon.

Depends on what you play. The GC is a decent console but it wouldn't work for me because for my taste the available games suck compared to what there is for PC. You mileage may vary of course.

There's one game I'm interested in seeing on the 'Cube, and that is the next Resident Evil that is 'Cube exclusive.
After that though the Resi' series is going back multi-platform... :rolleyes:

Console systems serve one function...play games and even then they tend to do a shoddy job...just geta better vid card and more ram for your pc and you'll be ablt to play great games..besides gC seems too childish with its stupdi games...If you do happen to get a console, get an Xbox with the new controller S or a PS2....stay away from Gamecube it is nintendo's astranged son (the one they hide in the attic as it is simply too much of an embarrasment):t

The idea of getting all the characters from various games to fight it out seems cool, and is the kinda thing I talked about when I was a kid ( like who would win out of Mario and Sonic, etc )

But I've never been able to appreciate SSB, or SSB Melee. I just find them both very annoying!

PS2 is the bizomb to me. Mostly because of Madden. It just ain't the same on the other boxes -or PC.

I got a Ps2 on eBay for 110 bones...worth every penny. I got lucky. The guy was local and kept it perfect...

General gaming, yes, PC is best.

Console = PS2. More titles and Socom Seals is the bomb too.

i find consoles very boring, since the game genre i like is not available in console, also "multiplayer" games with many controllers, splits the screen into tiny corners you can barely see

i came to a decision
i.........WILL buy a gamecube
i asked other ppl, looked at the games again, looked at the rpcies again and i think it is good
i have 2 m8s who have one too and they say its amazing
the vote it 15 NO and 8 YES
but i dont think its only caus of the GAMECUBE
if i wud ask SHUD I GET A CONSOLE i think most ppl would vote NO too. if i wud say shud i get an xbox even more ppl wud vote for NO. if i wud do SHUD I GET A PS2 more ppl wud vote YES, BUT i had a ps2 but i sold it because i didnt like it THAT much! i just like the GC games more

also looked at the xbox i think its poo because it costs much more and all the games well HALO is the only good one MOST of the other games u can get for PS2/GC or PC

Wait till Game Cubes become budget consoles if you really want one, I think you've left it a bit late and might as well get a scalable system (PS2 which plays PS1 Games) or hold out till a newer system comes out. Plus GameCubes just don't look all that great as far as games go.

The bad thing about consoles, is that when a new console comes out, you will have to upgrade the whole thing,, yet to get an existing pc to that consoles standards (PS2 800MHz, GF4mx)
And PCs can do much much more, and there is many more games.

You could try Resident Evil and Resident Evil 0, Soul Calibur II (coming out soon), Eternal Darkness, Rogue Squadron, blah blah...Good luck with your purchase and despite how the majority of people here feel about the cube, it's well worth the money.

and thats a good price
and i LOVE IT
