My SBlive's (5 of them on VIA chipsets at this moment) work perfectly in fact the other 2 in my home are on BX chipsets both types of setups work as smooth as smooth.
Just download the correct drivers and configure them correctly and the SBlive's just rock!

I did have a SB Live X-Gamer that worked great, but I will recomend to anyone the Hurc. Game Theater XP. Its got everything and then some.
Also Almost all of the computers in my house(8) have X-Gamers and Via chipsets. For the most part they run fine. I cannot blame the sound card on the 1 unstable machine.

My Sound Blaster Live! Xgamer(they are pretty much all the same...nothing special) is working perfectly on a VIA KT133 chipset. I have an Asus A7V...
