system:

2500+ XP Athlon
Asus A7S333 (VIA KT333 - DDR SDRAM)
GF 4 Ti4200
512mb ddr ram
80gb wdc


when the computer posts, the chip is only recognized as a 1900+ processor...when booted into win XP, system properties show the chip running at 1.48ghz, i flashed the bios to the newest version and the bios showed no change in the recognization of the chip

shouldnt my 2500+ be running at a lot faster than just 1.48ghz?

your fsb is wrong. you need to change it from 133 to 166.

11*133=1463
11*166=1833
