Press Ctrl-Print Screen. This will save the screen shot to the clipboard. Then open up Paint and select edit-paste (or Ctrl-V). This will make a BMP of your screen shot.

I always see this asked.

Lets get this straight, once and for all:

ALT+PRINT SCREEN is for copying the active window only.

PRINT SCREEN is for copying the entire desktop (exactly what you see).

Then go into a photo editor and paste it.

Roy, the famous topic heading would be "How do you do..." And ofcourse as reply you would say:"Great, thanks for asking!" http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif

Or, "What do you think?" -- I try not to! At least not when I'm sleeping or working! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif
