How do I change Explorers default icon view to "Detailed View".

Currently, the icons are WAY too big.

What screen resolution are you using. 640 x 480 or 800 x 600. If you you are runing 640 x 480 higher it to 800 x 600.

You have 5 different views in Explorer under Win ME.

It is currently on "Large Icons". I want it to default to "Details". It is not a resolution issue.

Change the "view" to the one you want then while that window is still open click on "Tools" then "folder options" then click on the tab "view" and hit the clickbox called "Like current folder"
