Bigjakkstaffa 06-11-2003, 01:11 PM IF theres a network install version to dload i think that would work --Jakk:t BipolarBill 06-11-2003, 03:36 PM When you install any version of IE, it normally creates a folder on the root drive called "Windows Update Setup Files". That's it. DocEvi1 06-11-2003, 04:12 PM or get the files of a demo cd. There is usually a network install file, it's larger (significantly usually) but allows you to save/transport around. Stefan chubtub 06-11-2003, 04:44 PM Not sure exactly what you are asking because I am tired but this may help and be simple. http://www.broomeman.com/support/wsiedown.html muchmark 06-11-2003, 04:50 PM Originally posted by BipolarBill When you install any version of IE, it normally creates a folder on the root drive called "Windows Update Setup Files". Midknyte 06-12-2003, 02:13 PM Way to be creative, man! I had a keyboard with a bad backspace. that was a b!tch. :( Here's how to download the network install version: http://www.broomeman.com/support/wsiedown.html oops. looks like chub got that already. rangeral 06-12-2003, 04:02 PM Pull the spacebar off and spring clean it out tap it with a pen see if it works then put it all back should work if its not broken, heck you could wash it let it dry for a few days and may work. Some shops throw floppies and keyboards in a tub and recycle them to another customer. gjimene2 06-12-2003, 04:06 PM when the backspace of an old keyboard didn't work, I just hit the insert button so it will replace instead of insert the letter, :D so just hit the back arrow, and correct over your mistake. Midknyte 06-12-2003, 05:36 PM I figured my way around it until I could get another keyboard. it was only like an hour or two. no biggie, but it just messes up your typing rhythm. :p Swordfish 06-12-2003, 08:38 PM sometimes a hammer comes in very handy... I won't recomment this to anybody but if nothing helps I mean cleanin etc...just gave it a small and sweet blow surprise surprise it started working. :p herosrest 06-12-2003, 10:18 PM The next Internet explorer version is already here by another name. Its That MSN thingy version 8 or what ever. It's rather good and stinks. ???. really. Subscribers only. Mr. Bul**** is doing his thing. Free browser by subscrition. That's cool.dll. herosrest 06-12-2003, 10:27 PM Originally posted by muchmark How do you save Internet Explorer 6 to file for future installation ? Keep one of the magazine CD's that give it away. You can't install IE6 to win 95 acording to M$ - But that is because software specifically denies the install. Just look at the inf files. SysOpt.com
