A Singaporean joining the SETI? I'll be the biggest joke on the planet. No, thanks! A small country in SEA will never be recognized around the world. Except for our international airport and port! Some foreigners can't even find our country on the world map. Pathetic!

Maybe we come from a small country?

Well! People often likes to talk about big and powerful countries so Singapore is not one of them.

If Singaporeans can get a chance to visit Mars in the future, that will be a small blessing for all of us.

Well! If humanity can settle on Mars, there will be another problem.

The colonists will start to resent Earth's authority and they will request for full independence.

If colonization of Mars is realized, there will be many resources that can be plundered and Earth will not let Mars go solo so easily.

Even we can explore Mars personally, we need spaceships to bring us there. So it'll be impossible now!
