I was just thinking how great a Laptop would be nothing special as long as I can get it on a wireless network and use Internet preferably running Linux. I know a wireless network is expensive but I should be able to pick up a cheap WNAP and add it to our Linksys router.
So where is the cheapest place to get Laptops in UK? anything around a hundred squid would be acceptable.
Thanks

Aldi.. no thats not a joke, Aldi, the much criticised and mocked el-cheapo supermarket does some great deals on the sort of mediocre prebuilt PC's and Laptops that the likes of PC World charge you megabucks for

Just make sure you go in in a disguise so that no one important see's you there , also they used to refuse credit card payments, might have changed now like, but not sure

Ooh I found one on their Australian website.
http://www.aldi.com.au/index.php?choice=surprise_buys
If thats the same kind of thing as they have in this country then its somewhat out of my price range.
I think I'll have to look for a second hand one but other than ebay I dunno where to start.

Euch their UK site is rubbish
Your best off waiting for them to push their 'special offers' magazine thing (you know, you get big hefts of em all on the same days from supermarkets and ComeT), they usually have the majority of the booklet devoted to electrical equipment, usually where you'll find em easiest
