Hello guys and gals. I ran across a schematic diagram for an ATX power supply a month or so ago, but the text was in Czech. I wrote the author, Pavel Ruzicka, to ask if he could translate the text to English, it would help us understand these switching power supplies much better.

Pavel now has done this, and should be of great value to many of us that have some electronics background.

You will notice that the text is not 'exactly' in true American English, but certainly is close enough for anyone to rearange the wording to make sence to us.

Glad the schematic has been of some value. I know it was for myself.

While searching for a schematic, I ran across several requests for some 'how toos' for using two ATX supplies in one case to help with extra fans, ect. At one forum, there was a link to a drawing for this, so I copied the pic which was in .gif format to my hard drive for future use. I continue to see requests for this info, so I have put that gif out to my web site for quick and easy linking whithout having to go thru another forun, ect...as well as adding a small comment on how to switch the second psu on and off, if needed.

Here is the link to that pic...I looked closely, but did not find any copywrite anywhere, so I will make this offer. Should anyone discover that this data is copywritten, or the owner shows up and wants it removed, I will do so in a skinny minute.
