Hey, I've decided to wipe off the dust on my old Phantasmagoria game and revive it. But everytime I try to intall it, I get that old "windows has caused an illegal operation" jazz.

Could it be my Win98se, I though it was still good up until 98? I have 512 memory and 32 meg card.

That was an oldie classie, I won't give away. :(

I know I couldn't install it on WinXP either.
I don't remember very well, but I think I requires either DOS or WFW 3.11 with installed WinG and Indeo drivers ... :rolleyes:
And a soundcard which uses DMA ... PCI soundcards (DOS Legacy emulation :rolleyes: ) go bye bye :( :(

I loved Phantasmagoria. I loved its spookiness, the old town flavor.

it'll Play fine inside VM Ware, with sound emulation and running Win3.11 + WinG drivers and Indeo Video
