hi um i was just after anyone who thinks they have their computer at the best possible temps with their fan arrangement, ive got:
Athlon XP 2400+ (with volcano 11)
512 DDR (266) RAM
TripleX GeForce 4 MX 440SE

and im getting 39c idle and 44c full load with volcano 11, 1 fan at the back blowing air out of case one at the top blowing air out the top, 2 side fans blowing air into the case (one over CPU and other over Video card) and finally one blowing air into the case from the front.

so if anyone out there can tell me any other little secrets they have and might want to boast about them :p go right ahead here!!:t as i am all about temps in a computer and would love to hear if anyone has mastered heat problems with awesome fan arranging.

Actually, Quazar has an evaporative cooling tower, and Someone Stupid as a Prometria. :D

Nice, good idea too, seems a bit tight for airflow up top of these cases to me :(

Well Gib, since you had to smack him down with your sweet rig, I figured I'd give it a go

.....SMACKDOWN.....

BTW this cooling thig is addictive, I think I am going to begin work on a moble radiator for it, a new case, and some tyoe of refridgerant. Still thinking about it.

Well it was performing at 38C CPU and 16C NB when I first set it up. This is the Tbred 2000+ "A" with the heat issues and it has always run very hot, so I was really happy with it. When I had the standard HS and Fan combo I was almost to 60C on some days and yes, everthing was seated correctly and I had some really good case cooling.

However I made some changes to it and now it looks like I am running at 36/16C.

I am running my 2000+ @ 2.11 GHZ and 1.85 volts. Before this I was at 2.0 MAX at 1.85 volts and it was only stable on cool days :8

I am thinking of Vmodding my motherboard to see how far I can go.

Happy cooling setup! Fans!

Germany, usually a cold, transient-weathered place, is now experiencing a heat wave. My proc is running 56C load, and that's the IST reading.

Germany: From Tundra to Hell and Back Again.
