I'm gonna build i think next week i must buy some parts.
I'm gonna place the tank in the case a heatsink in the tank the cool side of a peltier mounted on in through a hole in one side.
mounting a heatsink on the hot side with a air sucking fan that blows the air through a big tube out of the case.
My question is
Is there anyone who have tryed this?

Watercooling is cool but the temp in my case is running up by the hour so after 4 hours the cooling sucks.
So i need to cool harder :-)
Sending the pics when i have them ready and running it well

Why not hang the radiator on the back then?
Thinkin about it cover the case in peltiers & go back to fans :D

I've thought about using peltiers to chill water too.
One way to do it would be using peltiers attached to copper plates that act as spillways. As the water re-enters the tank it runs over the cold copper plates.
Here's a rough sketch of how it works.

ummmm....
I've heard that water creates good feng shui.
maybe that's why computers sh@t themselves, bad feng shui.

I think something like this (http://forum.oc-forums.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=168477&highlight=cathar+peltier), with seperate loops, would be better. :D

That gives me an idea though....
I think that setup would keep my beer cold when I'm out in the bush :)

One of the very first water cooling systems I saw had a peltier between the cpu and waterblock. Also, one thing I was wondering, why don't most water blocks just put the water-in and water-out pipes on the sides, and on top of the waterblock have a heatsink and fan? Would this not help contribute to cooling the water enough to be worthwhile?

penguins - that idea wouldnt work very good, as the falling water would get tiny bubbles and the water wouldnt absorb heat so good. what u would need would be sum thing like this:
...hang on, text pics dont work...:(
i cant show how i think, but it would be the same shape as a hot water bottle, and built like a maze4...
http://www.dangerden.com/images/MAZE4/Maze4_AMD_large.jpg
imagine a maze 4 withall those tiny channels... 1' by 2'!!
now put A LOT of pelts on both sides, all cooled by a HUGE copper block with slk900's epoxied on, and being blown on by a large household fan, or :x air conditioning:x
water goes in hot, comes out sub-zero!!
that would be super expensive, and it would need antifreeze, but would probably beat prometia :D

Or you could go out and get the components out of an industrial freezer and use it for some nice phase change cooling.
