Athlon Palmiero ???

Is that the new chip athlon is going to make for the desktop? I was just wondering because i heard they're coming out with that to match Pentium 4. Also, will the current motherboards support the new palmiero chips when they come out?

Basically i was just wondering because I was thinking whether i should wait for this new chip to come out by AMD. But if the current motherboards will support this new amd chip, then I'll try to make a computer now and upgrdae when it comes out... (thx for all the help)

After some internet browsing i think the palomino has to do with the multiple prcessor stuff what your looking for is the athlon4 which will first go mobile here's a faq on the athlon4 http://www1.amd.com/products/cpg/mobileathlon/faq
