One for my mate Stefan this, bout 120mb can be gotten at gamers hell easy enough, three tracks, sadly only the crappy ford focus 2002 to pelt about in :(

Initial reports, very good for fans of the sport, very realistic, yet still fun, however gone are the days of starksy and hutch like handbrake turns, you mash the handbrake you WILL spin, gentle taps only when needed stick to the foot brake. This may discourage some of the more arcadey players of the game but the challenge gives a sense of satisfaction, especially getting around hairpins which requires a good auld thrash of the steering both over and under steer and can be quite hairy at times.

All in all, looks very good, roll on the full game then i can tool up in my beloved Impreza WRX and go and kick seven shades of the brown stuff outta it through the English countryside (which i must say is rendered beautifully)

I really like it, much more challening and satisfying than the previous versions, also has a less arcadey fele to it. Only complaint is the handbreak puts you into a spin everyime unless your trying for a dead stop, and a single mistake and you can be wiped-out for nigh on 10 secs. Other than that smashing, it does take som egettign used to though, give it four or five drives and you'll enjoy it more, its out on the eleventh i think, i'll be pre-orderign a copy tomorrow methinks :D

I dunno, yes it is more realistic (good) and the graphics are superb but there is just something about it, maybe it's the views...it feels very consoley. Pretty much like Toca Pro Race Driver does.

I dunno, the menu's are poor and it is so Consoley that it annoys me. I'll get the full game but wether I like it is up for debate.

I agree about the menu's and it is similar to Toca Race Driver in a way, but i feel its much more enjoyable and playable a game than that POS was and unlike TOCA doesnt sacrifice the element of fun in the name of pure realism.

Doesnt matter now like, i ordered it about 15mins ago, cant wait till next friday so i can get my hands on the Impreza WRX, the Mg and the Citroen

Kul, played the demo for couple days and learned to like it. It's not like TOCA, but it's not less enjoyable. Graphics are good and smooth, replays angles are rather realistic, hope more fun things will be implemented in the final version :t

Shipped to me today, no doubt the postie will be instructed to hold onto it until friday when the official release date is :(

Still, the Acropolis Rally of Greece this weekend should tide me over for my rally sport fix until friday cometh.

OMG, I played it again last nigh. It is so sweet.

I was impressed with the Swedish Rally, but then I played on the UK, I spun a couple of times and I noticed the back tyres were going.....the damage model is superb.

Still, I don't like the limited views, nor the menu's - they all feel console'y to me and I don't like that.

Oh, and why can't you look behind, you might need to turn around with reverse gear and you can't see where you are going!

Youve got to play this game everyday to maintain you skill, its not so immediate as CMR2 was, i havent played ot for a couple of days and i played tuther night and wow, the difference was noticable, im dropping like 5-10secs on every stage now

Practice practice practice

It's certainly not easy. I remember in the good old days of screamer (a classic!) you could learn the track and be shaving only 10ths of a second off your best time.

In this its almost impossible to get a perfect line throughout. Especially (for example) in the woodland in the UK level - the trees are so close to the road its impossible not to stray a little!

It's a wicked game though, and the car detail is very impressive.

Still, I'm dissappointed that in all the advances we've had with technology we're still having to make do with billboarded roadside detail. It looks ****, and personally I would rather there be an option to remove it altogether.

Most rallys are billboarded though if not as densley as th egame would make out. I do like the way however in thisone that you can knock the barriers down and drive through them. Seemed somewhat physics defying in the original games that a flims piece of plastic tape could halt a rally car

I've been playing the demo lots and like it quite a bit. I still am not keen on the menu's and what-not but the game is decent.

I also like the physics model, but I wish the damage model was more realistic, i.e. hit a lamp-post at 100mph+ and nought happens. I wish something was damaged at that speed....

Now, all I need to do is find £30, something I don't have after my £560 visa bill :( I shouldn't have got an iPod, been rallying or to Alton Towers :(

its 25quid if you preorder it now ;)

Hey every little penny helps right. As for the damage model, it didnt seem as good to me in the demo as it was cracked up to be, however first thing i'll do with it on friday is to wrap an impreza around a tree to see fi its improved any in the final product ;)
