I'm trying to remove the stock cooler off of my Geforce3. It's got these spring loaded pins that hold the heatsink/fan on the board. Do i Just pinch the bottom end of the pins to get it off? I asking because i've never done this and I don't want to ruin anything. If someone could give me some help on this it'd be much appreciated. Thanks.

Normally, you slide a semi-sharp object between the "petals" of the plastic clip to push the center post up and out.

Thanks guys. Just in case you're wondering, I was taking off the stock HSF so I can put on this Zalman heatpipe cooler. So far so good. I've been playing Day of Defeat for a good 3 hours now and the heat in my case is still the same as with the stock HSF. The best thing is the Zalman heatpipe cooler is just warm to the touch, not hot at all, and now my computer is ALOT quieter then before. I'm on a quest to make my box as quiet as possible. I think i'm going to replace the CPU fan with something quieter as well as line the inside of the case with melamine soundproofing and maybe encasing the HD. If any one is on the same quest as I please feel free to chime in. Thanks!
