CELLPHONE/PAGERS

I have a couple of cellphones and pagers that have been out of service for a few months now. I dug them up while helping the wife spring clean. Does anybody have any suggestions what I could do with these tech gadgets? I don't just want to throw them away. can they be of use some how?

I know the police in some areas have programs where they re-use old cell phones. They're programmed to dial 911 and given to women and families that have been threatened with domestic violence. I'd look into that.

I don't think pagers are worth much.

you could re-enact that beer commercial and skip your pagers across the water.......... http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif as for the phone maybe you could just get a bad plan and use them for emergencies

The 911 system is the same thing we have here, I work at a cell phone store, and that's what we do with a lot of the phones people turn into us.
Yard sales are always nice too because someone can always use them for pre-payed.
