Why even bother?

Geeze, I see the latest thread in an attempt to to get a little homework help from a student was shot down.

I saw someone say, carful what you say or we will lose the community forum. Ok, so lets just get rid of the thing. Seems to cause more harm than its worth, with really no intelligent conversation allowed, why waste the time and bandwith of sysopt.com, just get rid off it. I have heard threat after threat well blah blah blah will just stop the community section, then do it.
We can't talk about anything in it anyway, so lets just get rid of it.

With threads like

"post a pic of your favorite toy"
or
Were is bobby the brain heenan go. Why even bother?

Who cares? whats the point? The site is slow enough as it is lets just get rid of the clutter.

thats why im returning back to the place i came from, xbitlabs. a strong, rich community form were we arent treated like children and can talk about war or politics. I cam here thinking this place would be better than old place, it was until the **** hit the fan. all sites managed under internet.com suck. for lack of better expression, **** internet.com. call me a troll, immature adolescent whatever, but you cant deny things suck.

without a strong community a forum is nothing. go to arstechnica, strong community, subscription services, running smooth with largest community.

and if you think im lying that the popularity of this forum decreased, have a look at the user stats.

I think the Mods here are the finest anywhere this side of Iraq and doing a fine job per their agenda --which is to keep this place clean, uncluttered, uncontroversial and dull.

well i dunno about some of you

but i've been to other forums, and is nothing but pure fight fight fight

and here in SysOpt is one of the odds ones that actually have decent people to talk to

and it's also a very commendable place

heck i recomend a lots of cheap customers to here, thost that doesn't want to pay for Tech support but wants Gratuit help :p

so anways... yeh, me i've been there done that. seen how crappy is the world outside

i like this place, cozy and warm, just like home
