Power supply went faulty and took out, my motherboard, Hard drive and CD roms, I am looking for a 40gig AT fireball plus AS (part number QMP40000AS-A) so I can use the circuit board off it to try to salvage my data. Or any suggestions. Thank you

Yes they only seem to have seagate on there

is going to take you a long while before you can fine one of the exact same model

Why?

Quatum went belly up and MAXTOR purchased the left overs

so it'll be really really hard to find any Quantum at all now

some places now the list MAXT0R but if you check the model number it's actually an ex-Quantum

so maybe try that, look for maxtor but with the matching model to your dead HDD

I am using two quantums 10gig as 7200 in a raid. Is the cercuit board the same? I am upgrading to new drives in a bit.

Can you send me a picture of them - it is possible that it would be the same circuit board
