Why can't I find IE5.5 to download? All I find is a download file that starts the download, then it stops and says I'm not connected. I want to download IE5.5 complete. Anyone...

Don't you have an old MS CD (mouse, keyboard, game, Office, Encarta) lying around? It should be on one of those.

I don't believe you can download a network install of IE5.5. Why don't you want ie6?

IE 5.5 is not available anymore, MS took it offline

use MOZILLA or OPERA instead

This notebook I just got has IE5. I want IE5.5. I had 6.0 and had problems and it is 35 megs. Doesn'e everyone know that 5.5 is the best? Anyway I do have a complete 5.5 but it has AOL logo and I can't stand it, I have Opra and Mozilla and IE6 on all my other computers. Is there a way of upgrading Outlook Express only to 5.5?

it's a start. I would think with the hundreds of cds I have here I could find 5.5.
