need to upgrade my pc

hi i have an athlon xp 2200 and i really want to ipgrade it .
do u think i should go with p4 or amd athlon?
its for gaming and overclocking

well, if ur only upgrading processor, ur limited to amd, as intel uses a different socket type


do you really need to upgrade??
isnt 2200 enough??

if u have decent cooling and decently overclockable mobo, a 1700+JIUHB would be a good upgrade, as decent cooling (air is usually enough!!) can get those badass 1700s up to 3000+!!
