how can u not love beos? if we get more people to use it there will be more software coming out. its great common i love it, at least try it. its free and only a 40mb download. its a great os all around!

Been using it for quite awhile, currently awaiting for a fully functional OpenGL driver for nVidia chipsets.

However, for now, I have switched over most of my alternative OS boxes to QNX for improved POSIX compliance. In other words, I can now compile most Unix software with no probs. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Yeah, I gave it a look but when I saw my video card was not supported (GeForce 2 MX), I decided to wait. It is interesting though...

I share the same thoughts. I love Be. It has a good office suite, and great user interface. You gotta love the quirky error messages too(in the VERY RARE instances that you encounter them)! Makes me smile every time!
Overall, one of the best out there. Plus is seems to not have a problem with most other filesystems.
