this may have been covered before but I missed it so here's my question. I found that modifing the xbox you can put Linux on it I haven't found anything for a windows operating system to be put on xbox, why? can it be done? foolish question but new to the xbox so why not ask people who know.

Windows can not and will never be put into a XBOX

only Linux can do that, because Linux is GOD ;)

Its because linux is open source so i can be modified to work on a non-pc.

and that asides, MS do not allow that

MS do not allow another OS in the Xbox

much less MS allow Windows to work on another System that is not a PC

No one Geekky enough to know how to change the Xbox OS to something else will choose Windows as their first choice. ;)

i doubt it'll be on any one's choice list
