Look before you buy!

Hi. I was considering getting a Nvidia GF4 MX 440 SE PCI(dont flame me for getting an MX or a PCI video card:rolleyes: ). Now I'm a cheap guy and I wanted the cheapest price. So I go to newegg.com and see 2 video cards, the Palit Microsystems DAYTONA Geforce MX440 SE PCI (bet you've never heard of the brand) and the PNY VERTO GF4 MX 440 SE PCI. Naturally I cling to brands I've heard of (in this case PNY). But when I look at the pictures of the cards, they look exactly the same (except the PNY one has a "PNY" sticker on the riser). The Palit is $55 and the PNY is $69. Now you and I have heard of manufaturing companines selling under different brands(and I know this is old news), but it never dawned on me untill it hit home.

go to ebay, it's cheaper there

i just got one the 2 days ago, and is working already now in a Dual Video system
