I have several computer's with the Asus A7V KT133 Mainboard and all with different video cards, modems and sound cards. I put them in the pci slots according to the manual so they wouldnt conflict with other slots IRQ's. But they all always have the same resource conflict with the IO read data for plug and play enumerator and the VIA bus master PCI IDE controller and the Secondary PCI IDE controller (dual fifo).
I know I can change the resource settings but this only makes a mess when you put in another card if it goes on the setting that were reassigned.
I have also tried moving the cards to different slots and also removing them altogether with no luck.
I also tried the BIOS Ver 1008 Beta but no luck.

Why is this resource conflict happening?

ACPI probably disabled, enable it (in BIOS) to allow IRQ sharing.

Best Regards ...

It isn't under power management? I thought all the new bioses support this.
