My case has a temperature of about 74. Does that seem ok?

74F sounds good to me,what is the ambient room temperature?

I'm pretty sure the room temp is 70F most of the time.

4F over abient is pretty good,what is your cooling setup?

Mid-Tower ATX case.
Rounded IDE cables.
3 inch fan intake on front.
3 1/2 inch fan blowing directy onto harddrives.
3 1/2 inch fan blowing air out the back.
