I was wondering whether anybody has installed VS 2003 and attempted to integrate either of the 2 main 3rd party IDEs:
- Rational XDE
- Compuware Development Partner
I installed XDE ok on 2002 but I can't install XDE on 2003. I think this is because the registry settings/interfaces have changed big time. If so are there any plans for an upgrade of XDE? My Dev Studio 6 crashes on start up now - I am sure this related to these plugins.
Why can't MS and the big vendors get together and sort these issues out!
Similarly with Compuware the IDE fails to appear in VS but installs ok (although uninstall does not work).
Finally (I nearly forgot!) has anybody attempted to install Numega Driver Studio on Windows 2003 Svr? I know SoftIce has been patched for XP but it would be helpful if someone can let me know about any known issues.
