Hello Everyone,

I hope someone can shed some light on this problem for me as its got me stumped.

I have a problem where if i have the keys assigned as

w = move forward
s = move backward
a = strafe left
d = strafe right
z = lean left
c = lean right

The problem is that i cannot do w + a + z, which is moving forward while strafing left and leaning to the left.

The bizzare thing is i can do a w + a + c which is move forward, strafe left BUT lean right.

I know you can do this because i've played it on another friends machine.

Historically it worked on my computer, but my keyboard died oneday and i had to replace it, and the problem has happend since.

I have tried 4 different keyboards now, both ps2 and usb types with no success. I suspect its a problem with the game? corrupt? or my OS?

But then it strange how it won't let me do the w + a + z combination however it will let me do everything else.

Also, i tested binding the w key to the '2' key and it works! lets me do the 2 + a + z movement. *STRANGE*

I guess i could remap the whole key to say y, g, h, j, b ,m and that would work. But its a pain getting acustom to the keys again.

Its just strange its only happening with the w,a,s,d,z,c key combination.

I'm currently on a Logitech elite keyboard usb and a logitech mx500 usb mouse both using latest drivers on XP OS.

Any suggestions will be much appriciated.

Thanks!

Why not try binding the Lean Left key to F, the Lean Right key to G and stop confusing yourself so much...

Dude, it simply sounds like your keybindings are just inefficient and possibly injury-inducing.

And how about binding the Forward button to your right mouse button? I started doing that to all my games since Soldier of Fortune. And up until I lost my skillz it worked *nicely* for me.

Just ideas.
