Commandos is a real-time strategy. You command a group of "Commando's" behind enemy lines to disrupt enemy supplies and communications, It is in a top-down 2d perspective and is set in WW2. It's good.
Tribes 2 is a first person shooter. You are a soldier in a clan of warriors, you must defend your flags, capture their flags, play football, drive vehicles, use sniper rifles. It is a team-based game. I didn't like it, but you might.
