i have finally accomplished the overclock
of my 600 celeron, to 900. im using an asus
p3v133 m\b. an asus slocket 370 with v core
adjust. my multiple is set to jumperfree mode. my multiple select is set to 3x pci to cpu bus. my fsb is set to 100mhz. the voltage on the slocket is set to 1.9v. im also using a standard heatsink and two standard fans stacked together. the system is so stable, i used it to post this topic of interest. its been booted and running for about 3 hrs now without a glitch. im happy! and its extremely fast.

Try it at 105 or more.
I have my 600 (the 1.5v model) on ASUS P3B-F with Asus slotket doing 120mhz FSB for 1080mhz.

Congratulations! I have my Celeron 600 running at 900 on an MSI-6309 board with a GlobalWin FHP 308 cooler at 1.65 volts. It is as stable as can be and never seems to get core temp over 40 degrees C.

I'm going to have to try that 120FSB. I have mine at 945. Runs 33-34C at 1.8v. Extremly stable.

i would try to go higher in fsb, but its weird.
the **** computer would crash its **** off
at 83mhz fsb which would make it 750mhz.
it stumps me how its running at 900mhz stable.
i've also added two case fans, one is intake, and the other is exhaust.
the m\b and cpu both run at 30c\86f.
all of this is also running off of a 130watt
power supply.(swallow that)
my next project is a 333 celeron on a 440lx
to see 650mhz.(some soldering will be needed)
the only flaw is the 440lx is only 1x AGP.
graphics will still suffer a little.
i will have to post some pics of all my setups.
chow for now

At 83 mhz FSB, your peripherals are running at FSB/2 or about 41.5mhz. Lots of stuff won't run. At 100mhz FSB, your peripherals are running at FSB/3 or 33.3mhz, which is where they're supposed to be. The Celeron runs originally at 66mhz, with a 33mhz bus (FSB/2) and the motherboard won't dump FSB/3 until you get to 100mhz FSB or faster.
That's why I suggested you try 105 or 110, as most devices will still run OK. You might have to increase voltage another .5v but with a little luck, you'll get a gig out of that 600.

i have the 600 using 150fsb,multiple select 4xpci to cpu bus, multiplier is in jumperfree
mode. its up to 1.76ghz. also at 2.2 volts.
its insane, but i don't want to risk anything. ill be coverting it back to 900mhz.

the heat is about the temperature of the surface of the sun... he was getting hot, so I'm sure that that is why he's taking it back down to that meager 900MHz

oooooohkay. lets not even talk about it.
the m/b is only 2 weeks old and i almost melted it. just joking, it was about 34c/89f.
understand the technology of water coolers.
i can't seem to post any pics of my stuff at this site. it would run for about 5 minutes using windows media player 7.(full screen)
oh well, who's next with the big overclock?
any questions-confide in sling

1.7 GHrz Hmmmm...i dont think so but it was good for a laugh.....Anyways....i have my own system up to 963 Mhz at 1.8 volts..that's 107 FSB and 35 PCI...Abosultely max on this system with an Asus CUSL2-C ...... Any voltage increase wont help past this level but the problems with the PCI bus outweigh the odds of success as the FAT table is in risk of going AWOL......
