Hi all, I just purchased a MSI mainboard with a Pentium 4. I dissabled the on-board video because I couldn't get it to show more than 16 colors.
I installed a PCI graphic adapter. Everything worked fine.
I then baught an AGP graphic adapter. I unstalled the PCI graphic adapter so that I can install the better AGP adapter.
I then put the new AGP adapter in the AGP slot, turned on the PC hoping that the PC would find new hardware but it started rebooting.
Each time it came to the starting Windows 2000 splash screen it would reboot.
I have tried enabling the on-board and using it but the system still rebooted.
I unattched the monitor from the system and it still rebooted. I have a feeling that it's the graphic adapter that I deleted that is the problem. However, I should be able to get at least the minum video to troubleshoot or install other drivers right?
I'm stumped. Please help,
Alex
