I've always just swapped out the cables when I needed to use another device, but as the USB arsenal grows, it's getting old really fast.

I'm looking for a good, brand-name, quality USB hub. Any suggestions?

I agree with Charmler whole hartedly! Also make sure it will support the high powered perhiperials. If it's self powered it should. But just to be on the safe side look for the Logitech Rumble Pad's power requirments. It is really high, so don't get anything lower. Off the top of my head I believe it takes 500mA.

This is going to sound stupid. When I looked at the self powered hubs, I noticed that the weight of similar products had a lot of variation. Since a USB hub should provide 500 ma. for each port the weight differance had to be in the hub power supply. Cheap power supplies dont weigh much.
when I picked up the different products, I noticed that the Belkins always were heavier, so thats what I bought. Works great.

I have a Newpoint, I got it at Costco, it's ok, but that's it.
