Dual 1.2G Athlons kickin' **** on dual 1.7G Xeons? Wow. When even a 1Ghz advantage (500mhz per CPU) can't save your flagship CPU from being embarrassed, then it's time to go back to the drawing board.

Did you read the review Soopa? It looks as if AMD has already given that much thought. They aren't gonna have someone else, like VIA, produce a buggy chipset for the multi-processor market. It's their own chipset that they've been working on and testing for something like 2 years. They know darn well that stability reins king in the high-end server market. Of course we'll have to wait and see, but it looks like they are going about this in the right way.

Lets just wait and see if this AMD chipset is flagged with problems like the previous ones. That would be the main thing keeping me from converting. I loved my athlon 750 when i got it (abit ka7-100)...but it just was not as stable as my intel p!!!800. I recently sold the parts to my athlon. My intel has an average uptime of 2 weeks in win2ksp2, where my athlon rarely coudl make it a week. Sure, its partly MS's fault..but there were other problems (USB).
