HAve New benchmarks on the NEW NV35.
It appears as if Nvidia is Back in the game.
While The 5900 ultra is on par with the R 9800 pro . In some benchmarks it surpasses by a wide gap.
Looks like Nvidia has regained the throne :)

Good articles... I'm really glad to see nVidia making a comeback after the lackluster performance of the 5800.... Now they just need to work on the price!!! $499 for a video card is pretty insane, even if it does have 256MB of memory.

Wow. That's impressive. I guess my opinion about NV30 can now change from 'next time ATI' to 'toss the crop o' NV30+G4MX's on the refuse heap, but NV35 deserves top honors'....or something like that.
Thanks for the read.

I may have a few pennies to toss around coem chrimbo, as stated 500 squidlies is a bit of a rip for a vid card, but we shall see which is the better priced by then. 9800 or 5900

[H]ardOCP (http://www.hardocp.com) has a better article than Tom or Anand.
Looks to me that Nvidia has an edge on performance, and ATI has one in image quality.
Now ATI has to try to retake the overall throne with R360.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm if all they do is reach the 5900's clock speeds Nvidia is going to have to watch out.
I am seriously impressed by what ATI can do on a .15 micron process. Just wait til their top end card migrates to .13.
