Hi- I recently redesigned my website, to see it click here (http://www.abclearnwithme.com) , and added a new navigation system using DHTML. Soon after this I found that my traffic stopped altogether, which is a pity because the site looks way better. Anyway, to cut a long story short, I found that Google's spider, and probably every other search engine's as well, does not work its way down my links into the site, but stops after the secondary homepage, (index2.htm) where the DHTML navigation menu is.
How can I add links to my sub-pages without ruining the look of my page? I want Google to be able to spider my entire site, but I am more than sure now that it stops after the index.htm page.
Thanks for any help in advance...

Have you looked at the source code on the main static page?
There are about 30 lines of percentages like this - 2%3%4%5%.
What is it?
You have the title tags, but no content meta tag.
This is a learning site, so that fancy start up isn't necessary.
Google's spiders probably don't bother to try getting beyond it, and then there is no contents meta tag which Google uses to describe the contents of the site/page.
The main static page looks very static and ordinary, so I don't know why you decided on the flashy opening.
I would design a better static home page instead.

Hello, and thanks for the reply. The client whom this website is designed for specifically requested the Flash startup page, and she is overly pleased with it, though it took me less than half the afternoon to throw together. The other site that I manage, here (http://www.ourladyofthelakescc.org) doesn't use flash.
The % signs in the sources have to do with HTML protect, a program I use to secure the pages against selecting, cut and paste, screen capture, printing, etc.
And of course I look at my source, I wrote most of it
You didn't answer the question I asked, though, and I found the answer myself after some thinking. I will make a simple HTML page with links to all of my pages on it and insert it into an iframe with the height and width of 0, that way no one will see it, and Google will spider those pages.
Thanks anyway...

How do you know the iframe works with Google spiders? And why big concern with search engine?

What? One can easily cp, sc,pr all of the pages I looked at.
Lastly, quick Google check on:
"a b c"
OR
"abc"
Doesn't list "http://www.abclearnwithme.com/" in first cople of pages.
Didn't try "OLOL".

Hello, and thanks for your reply as well.
The search engine, specifically Google, concern is that since the site's internal pages were dropped from the index, the traffic went from about 15 visitors weekly to none at all. The person who owns this website requested that I find out why that happened. I did.
The OLOL site does not need to be ranked well in any search engine as little of its traffic comes from them. The cluster prints the URL on all of its publications, including the bulletin and therefore most of the hits come from people directly accessing the page.
Secondly, I am not entirely sure that the iframe solution will work, and in Google's FAQ it does specify that it sometimes does not crawl frames, but it is worth a try. Life rewards those who are active. I'd rather try something and have it not work than sit around waiting for an answer to drop on my head that is foolproof. ;)
daycare and a church?
Yes, and why not, may I ask?:) I don't turn down work because I don't like the content of the page. Also, A B C Learn With Me is not a daycare and The OLOL is a Catholic Community.
What? One can easily cp, sc,pr all of the pages I looked at.
The OLOL site is not protected, however A B C Learn With Me.com is. If it is not working I should fix it at once. Could you please verify the exact problem? From both my computers, and from Netscape 7.02 and IE 6.0 the security is working perfectly. In fact, I had to close out the ABCLWM homepage because it had disabled my clipboard and I couldn't quote you above.
Thanks for your comments.
