Man, not much info on this. I could only find the SP4 glitch and this: http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q236/9/49.ASP?LN=EN-US&SD=gn&FR=0&qry=Event%20Viewer%206008%20Error&rnk=1&src=DHCS_MSPSS_gn_SRCH&SPR=NTS40

Doubt it helps, but...
Good luck. Is a shutdown service running that shouldn't be?

I'm running Win. NT Server 4.0 Terminal Server Edition. For the last two Mondays, my Server reboots on its own. When I go into the Event Viewer, I get the Event I.D.6008. With the description saying:The previous system shutdown at "time on date" was unexpected. I know that this is a bug with the Service Pack 4. But I have upgraded to Service Pack 6 and I'm still getting the same problem. Any suggestions?

Where would I go to find that a shutdown service is running?

Thanks for the Microsoft link, already looked into though.
