The Intel boards were not good for overclocking.

Check if you have any jumpers and increase the FSB settings.

Sterling said Intel boards, not the cpu. But, then again.

Only way the oc an Intel cpu is by fsb, the multipliers are locked.

Whats an ADM?;)

If you buy an AMD cpu, you will also have to buy a new mobo. Not that this is a bad thing or anything.

Imperion1:

You forgot to mention that if he does buy a new mobo, he will also need a new processor and possibly new RAM.

Check your motherboard manual for information in changing the bus frequency up to 112 or 133, usually it can be found in the BIOs or a jumper on the board, if this is an intel board though, your chanches look slim

What proc is this? Katmai or Cumine?

The Cumine 550, even an A0 stepping, will get up to around ~800MHz with good cooling and a voltage bump.

733MHz (133 FSB) will require 1.75v; covering some pins with tape will be required; there are many sites that show how to do this, try google.

If it's a Katmai, then the most you will get is 600, and that will also require good cooling for the core AND external L2 cache.

If your processor has two chips to the right of it, it's a Katmai
If your processor is just a chip in the middle with a blank circuitboard then it's a Cumine
