What is your opinion of the best WinAmp plug-ins?
I would have to give it to WowThing, because this software plug-in improves the sound of your speakers to add more bass. Unfortunately, the WowThing web site no longer posts the software for download. Luckily, I have version 1.0j archived.

can you send it to me, I would love to try it...
as for mine I would say "DSP RockSteady" available at the winamp website. It normalizes all of your MP3's regardless of their recording bitrate's, etc. So it makes them all the same volume level...

I used to like the QSound Qexpander plugin, similar to the Wowthing mentioned by ablang. I even purchased the full reg version due to the improvement in sound quality. Now I have a Philips Rythmic Edge based upon QSound's Thunderbird 128 DSP with automatic Qexapansion hardware acceleration in all 2D audio apps. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
