My dad's work is considering upgrading their pentium's(his is a 133mmx) from 64mb of ram to 96mb or 128mb. They are going to spend $60CAN each for a 32mb stick of EDO. Crazy! That's like $240 a machine(there are 4 or 5 of them). I told him to save his money and get a new motherboard, AMD K6-2 and 128mb of sdramm for almost the same price. But I don't know of a cheap motherboard. All it really needs is k6-2 support and SDRAM support, and I think AT or BAT form factor. I was thinking p5a-b, which I have, but is like $130CAN.

The super socket 7 motherboards are at/atx mountable (you can mount them on both cases). Here, (fi) the cheapest ss7 mobo is about the price as the cheapest socketA mobo. Can't get old tech cheap... Just about any mobo will do, just that those via chipset mobos have tremendous problems with agp slot...
