I'll be short and to-the-point: Every time I start my Distributed.net client, it does some stuff, and then says R, and stops doing anything until I disconnect or re-connect. It doesn't seem to be doing anything. It displays a block of text, with the letter "R" directly below it, like this:

Connection detected on "Internet Exchange"
R.

I want to get this working so I can crunch RC5 for Sysopt. I don't know what I can offer the team with only a Celeron 433MHz, but I want to help.

The only evidence that the lights may be on is that the CPU temperature went up from 92 to 99 degrees farenheit since starting from . Also, the letter "R" is followed by more and more periods (.) after each text block.

example:

>Downloading 2 of 2 work units...
R.

>Connection lost.
R..

>Connection detected on "Internet Exchange"
R...

It sounds like you have the client running. The "R" stands for "Restart" which means that you some how stopped the client and then restarted it. The periods more ot less show you your progress, here's a clip from mine:
