UBB software question.....

Alrighty, this question is for all you yahoos out there who run your own message board with UBB.

Me and some friends are building a site. We have a message board. Now I'm not in charge of the board because I don't really know all about that stuff, but I want to know why it is that our board can only have two member status'. It can only have Junior Member and Member. Lots of other places I've seen have several more status'. Why can we only have two, and how can we change it? If you know, share the wealth of knowledge. I'm sure somebody, at least someone who runs this forum might be able to tell me. Thanks.

UBB 6 can only have 2 member stata. Other stata have to be added manually for each person.

ikonboard is awsome once you have it set up and looking the way you want it too. (I was not in the mood to customize it though. That and it wouldent change things after I changed them. I atribute that to just misconfigurations on my part though.) Yabb.org has a nice board as well. hotscripts.com has tons of UBB types stuff for Perl and PHP..

you will probably have to hack the one of the cgi files...dunno which one right off hand...

ask these guys (http://ubbforums.infopop.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi) if there is a way.
