What's your *NIX uptime?

I guess that you could also put your windows uptime in here if you want to, but i'm not sure if anybody has the courage to do that http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif

my linux uptime right now is:
73 days 18 hours 35 minutes

for those of you who don't know that is the amount of time since my last restart. I've have a couple of 50+ ones, but this is my longest to date, and i don't see a reason for it to end any time soon.

Well, win 2000 here. All I can say is 26 1/2 hours and climbing! ha!

But that's because I just installed it. Of course I had to re-start when installing some programs, but there we are.

I upgraded win 98se the FIRST time, but I really wasn't happy with that.

This time I did a clean install, and changed to NTFS and all I can say is "where have you been all my life 2000?

Anyway, I'll keep y'all posted on this, and I'll check back to this thread to see ho you are doing with your flavor of OS.

Check this out, from one of my MDK 7.2 boxes:

leon:/var/log > uptime
1:50pm up 225 days, 3:10, 3 users, load average: 0.40, 0.00, 0.00

The longest I've seen is 500+ days, on a Digital Unix box.

0.00, 0.00 (I've been out of town for 3 days) that time is only due to the power going out 12 days ago, I've run it for 87 days before.

...well i have had an uptime of 300+ days using linux kernel 2.0.36 now i am on kernel 2.4.5, which was released a week or so ago. so my current up time is:

10:47pm up 5 days, 23:35, 2 users, load average: 1.16, 1.15, 1.18

BTW - i would probably have a better up time is not for lightning.

hey... what happened to all of the sysopt *NIX users that responded in that OS poll a couple of weeks ago??? If you're not sure how to get your uptime, just type "uptime" at the console.
