I moved out of my small hewlett packard case.
The cable that connects to the floppy is to short so its not seen but it is in my bios and its the first thing in the boot process is that why its taking so long to boot?

That is a good possibility. If your floppy is not hooked up but still setup in the BIOS, then you should be getting a Floppy Disk error. If your floppy is not setup in you BIOS but still set as the first boot device, then remove it from the boot list and your boot times should improve. also, remove it from the BIOS so that the BIOS does not try looking for the floppy when you boot up.
