Has anyone been able to get the Soundblaster Live card to work in DOS 6.x? I've searched all over for drivers but I can't seem to find any (including Creative's site). Thanks!

Josh42 05-02-2003, 11:39 AM do you remember those settings by any chance? rraehal 05-02-2003, 03:54 PM In the autoexec.bat file add: SET BLASTER=A220 I5 D1 H5 P330 E620 T6 Where "A" is your I/O address "I" is the IRQ and "D" is the low DMA channel of the sound card. These settings will allow most DOS games to run with sound. The "H" is the High DMA "P" is the MIDI port I/O address. These setting will allow MIDI sound if required. I do not remember what E and T are for. Edit: I did a search on Google and found this site: http://retailsupport.ea.com/tech_support/how_to/settings.htm It lists several settings and driver files for Creative Sound Cards. It also appears that you need a SET SOUND line as well. Spook 05-02-2003, 07:49 PM Don't know if this will help, but I have the original SB Live cd here, I checked and it has a file with a dos driver, may be it will help, let me know and I may be able to E-mail the file to you, it is only about 900 Kb in size.
