Windows 98 windows

A simple question...how in the world can I get my new windows to open maximized? Never had any problem pre-Win98, new windows opened as they were last set in the application. Now they always seem to go back to some default or the other. I think the problem may be only with IE6 and Outlook Express.

right-click the shortcut and select "properties" from the drop down list, then click the option next to "Run" and select either "Normal" "Minimised" or "Maximised", then click ok and your done.

I don't know about you

but in Win2k, and WinXP

they also do the same as what you want in Win98

the LAST window you close, will re-open, in the same manner you last left it


so if you want it on a certain way

make sure the VERY LAST window you close for that Application, is in the place and size you want

SPECIALLY if you use DUAL Monitors set up
