COMP USA has DDR2100 memory for $17.99 after rebate. $47.99-$30.00 rebate=$17.99. I tried going to Circuit city to have them honor the price difference. And this time they gave me the run around. Screw them, I'm not buying from them for the next 6 months! Tell 10 friends to boycott if you can. I hate it when a company cannot stand behind their claim of honoring other store low prices plus a 10% difference! But at least COM USA has a good deal if you don't mind the good ole rebate wait. I'm calling the corporate office and ***** to them about their policy. I've had other sale items price matched much higher in price. This mem deal should be a "No-brainer"! Oh well. I'll try another store like Best Buy or Staples and get back here if I have success. Laterz.

I called the Circuit City corporate office. They told me that recently they have redone their store policy. In short, "The customer should not pay 1 penny more for an item advertised elsewhere, Plus 10%". However, this no longer covers instore promotional ads or rebates the rep told me. In that case, there is no need for me to buy at Circuit City. They rarely ever have lower prices than the competition. I've told a few people about this lousy policy and they agree with me. I ask of you to reconsider at least for a few months to shop elsewhere. Circuit City could do better customer service. Stores offer rebates to lure in the customer to buy other items as well as banking the customer won't submit the rebate! I'll stick to the other stores around town!
