ahhhh another prob what is going on!!!!!!!!!!

ok im trying to burn a movie, its a 650 mb divx file, im saving it as data as i should, but everytime i start about 10% or so into it just freezes and sometimes says ide error, whats up? i need ot burn this!!! should i try a difff software for burning, im using nero. my system, tdk 12x burner, pII 400, 64meg ram, maxtor hdd, udma running at 33. when it freezes i can still move the mouse but no response from os (ie ctrl-alt-delete dont work)

god, im sorry im getting really tired and frustrated, no i shut down everything and it wouldnt matter anyways since its burnproof
i just tried a practice burn, no real burning done, at 8x and still the same thing at 60%, what could be cuasing the ide devices to lock up, should i jsuti shut my system down for the night and try again tomorrow? needs a break?

ok figured it out, i did two things that made it work, well i dont know which did it, but anyways i thought it might be overheating, and because of my case's poor design, i opened up the side and let fresh air freely flo in which dramatically reduced temp, then i disabled dma on the cd burner which also made it burn completely, i believe, well its finished and thanks for your help.

if i tol u id have to kill you, haha just kidding, austin powers 2 from tv, *wink*, yea it plays well jsut a few glitchy parts but what can ya do i jsut got a 1 and a 1/2 hour movie on a cdrw. eh?
