Motherboard Comparison: MSI K7N2-L Vs SOLTEK 75FRN2-L? (need advice)

Hi,

I've been reading up on reviews of these 2 entry level nForce2 boards (approx $145CAD) and wonder if any of you owners have any suggestions?

I'm looking PRO's and CON's from actual users. Things like stability at 200FSB, which BIOS rev to get, what works well, doesn't work well etc... I'm looking at picking up either one of these.

I doubt that you'll ever see an impartial review of both boards. What are the chances?

The Soltek has more features, but has gotten mixed reviews from individuals. The MSI is not a great overclocker (compared the the equivalent Asus and Epox boards), but it's a rock and easy to set up.

I like the Epox 8RDA+ myself.

I've had two MSI boards (KT3Ultra2 and K7Pro2-A) and was biased towards the MSI board because I've never really had problems with them.

I might waiit for the Epox 8RDA+ ($40 more though :( )

If only I could find a local vendor who sells the Abit NF7S...

The Epox 8RDA (plain) is more affordable. If money is that much of an issue, get the Soltek.
