I have and AMD Athlon XP 2000

AXDA2000DKT3....

I thought it was a T-Bred B becuase that's what Newegg had advertisd but it is actually a T bred A.:(

Can anyone tell my what the good and bad with this processor?

Heat and overclockability. The A types run a wee bit hotter and don't overclock quite as easily. Otherwise, they are the same.

Well if Newegg really was saying it was a "B" and you got an "A" then tell them that you were sent the wrong chip and they have an excellent RMA service I am sure they would send you the correct chip.

But don't they have something about not being responsible for typographical errors...(bottom of main page)

You are right but, I would at least call, I think they may mean more along the lines of typos with pricing.

Give them a call and see, I am curious to see what they would say. The only time I had to return somthing ( broken pins on cpu) it went great.
